Smartling is bringing the Global Ready Workshop series to cities across Europe and the United States.

These workshops are designed for senior localization, product, and marketing leaders who are ready to think differently about their work. Earlier this year, we hosted a round of Global Ready workshops across Europe, bringing together leaders from companies like Apple, Under Armour, HubSpot, Amazon, Expedia, and Tesla. The conversations went well beyond tactics, focusing on how localization leaders are shaping strategy, earning executive buy-in, and navigating change in 2026.

These are small-format, high-value sessions built for leaders driving the future of localization inside their organizations.

What you’ll experience

The East Coast workshops on March 2–5 will be led by Martiño Prada (Head of Language Management at Netflix, formerly Spotify and GoPro). Martiño brings deep, client-side experience building and scaling global localization teams. Sessions focus on leadership in localization, internal influence, and driving measurable impact, combining real-world case studies, practical frameworks, and hands-on exercises with peer-level discussion you can apply immediately.

The West Coast workshops on March 23–25 will be led by Jose Palomares (Sr. Director of Global Experiences at Coupa). Jose brings deep experience helping localization teams evolve from service providers into strategic growth partners. These sessions focus on executive influence, organizational positioning, and navigating complexity in the AI era, with practical frameworks and peer-level discussion designed to strengthen credibility and impact with leadership.

Workshops run from 2:00–6:00 PM, followed by dinner starting at 6:30 PM.

Participation is free for qualified professionals. Please plan to contribute and stay for the full experience.
